Corundum brick description

Corundum brick is an aluminum-silicon refractory product with corundum as the main phase. Corundum bricks are divided into three types: fused cast corundum brick, fused corundum sinter brick, and sintered corundum brick. The cast-cast corundum brick is obtained by melting industrial alumina and a small amount of soda ash and quartz powder in an electric arc furnace, followed by casting, annealing and the like, and finally mechanically processing into a desired shape and size. The fused corundum re-sintered brick is made of pulverized fused corundum granules and fine powder, added with a small amount of clay and a binder, and after thorough mixing, it is formed by a brick press. The brick density is 2.75~2.85g/cm3. After the brick is dried, it is fired at 1700~1800 °C.

Fused cast zircon corundum blocks description

Fused cast zircon corundum blocks are commonly known as white iron bricks. It is the most important refractory material to ensure the normal operation of the glass melting furnace. Chrome corundum brick description

The chrome corundum brick is a corundum refractory product containing Cr2O3. At high temperature, Cr2O3 forms a continuous solid solution with Al2O3, so the high temperature performance of chrome corundum brick is better than that of pure corundum brick. The chrome corundum brick is mainly used as the lining material for the lower part of the petrochemical industrial slag oil and gas furnace, and can also be used as a sliding nozzle material.The chrome corundum brick has good high temperature resistance and slag resistance, excellent resistance to molten coal slag erosion, and its slag resistance increases with the increase of Cr2O3 content.
